Dear Runwise Hiring Team,
I'm thrilled to apply for the Product Manager role at Runwise—not just because of the company’s mission, but because of how you’re achieving it: by focusing on operational efficiency and maximizing impact. With a background that blends strategic insight, product leadership, and a deep commitment to energy innovation, I’m confident I can deliver meaningful outcomes for both your users and your business.
For the first six years of my career, I was an energy-focused strategist, helping utilities and energy providers analyze data, uncover actionable insights, and develop campaigns that changed consumer behavior. One such campaign focused on increasing EV Adoption in Southern California. Through market and consumer research, I developed a content strategy and creative brief for a four-year-long campaign that addressed misconceptions about EVs, while preparing my client to overcome legitimate barriers to adoption. Like Runwise, I care about impact and outcomes; I’m proud to share that my team’s campaign achieved a 52% increase in EV consideration and a 3x increase in public trust that my client was committed to EV adoption.
Since transitioning to Product Management, I’ve led two different platforms delivering a DER software solution for community solar programs. At one, I was the sole PM responsible for taking a conceptual product from zero to MVP to multi-market rollout. I collaborated with 30+ stakeholders, developed product requirements grounded in user and market research, and prioritized solutions that aligned with real customer needs and operational constraints. My current role is quite different: I’m evolving a legacy platform to support business scale, managing the roadmap, triaging defects, automating workflows, and continuously shipping features without disrupting core functionality.
What unites these roles is my consistent focus on outcomes over output. I find value in asking the right questions, aligning teams around measurable objectives, and iterating quickly in response to new data. I'm especially energized by Runwise’s emphasis on being customer-first, efficient, and bold enough to rethink the status quo—values that mirror how I operate. I also bring familiarity with the nuances of our industry and a readiness to engage deeply with technical teams, end users, and data alike.
Runwise’s mission—to cut carbon emissions through smart building tech—aligns perfectly with the work I’ve been doing for nearly a decade: making it easier for people to adopt sustainable practices that benefit themselves and their communities. I’d love the opportunity to continue my commitment to climate sustainability with your organization. I’m looking forward to the chance to connect.
Warmly,
Rosemary Garry
